An Encumbrance Certificate is an evidence that the property you select is free from any monetary or/and legal liability. Encumbrance Certificate proves that the property can be sold as freehold. When you want to sell or buy a property, one of the first things to check is the Encumbrance Certificate (EC). Do you need an Encumbrance Certificate (EC) to sell your property? Or have you got an EC after you have purchased the property and transferred it to your name to check if the transfer reflects? Don't worry, you can get an EC now without having to run around
How it works:
- Send us a scanned copy of the required document or courier it to us, whichever is convenient.
- We apply to the sub-registrar office under whose jurisdiction the property is situated. We do the running around and follow up to get the document.
- Once the EC is obtained, it will be dispatched by courier to your address. International shipping will cost extra.
Documents Required:
- Copy of the Sale deed
Time Line:
- 7 - 10 working days after realization of payment and receipt of document.
